Advanced PCB Disassembly Techniques

5. Solder Melting and Disassembly Method:

This innovative technique provides a more efficient approach to disassembly. By carefully applying solder to the pins of the integrated block scheduled for removal, you can create interconnected solder joints within each pin column. This interconnectedness aids in heat transfer, making the disassembly process smoother. To disassemble, use an electric soldering iron to heat each pin column while gently prying between the two pin columns with sharp tweezers or a small screwdriver. With just two heating cycles, each pin column can typically be easily removed.

6. Tin Suction Disassembly Method for Multi-Strand Copper Wire:

For disassembling multi-strand copper wire, this method involves using multiple strands of copper core plastic wire to strip the plastic sheath. Apply a rosin alcohol solution to the copper core wires before use. Heat an electric soldering iron, place the multiple copper core wires on the integrated block’s pins, and allow the solder on the pins to be absorbed by the copper wires. Trim off any excess solder and repeat the process several times until all solder is removed from the pins. If available, you can also utilize the braided wire within shielded wire. Once the solder is absorbed, gently pry with tweezers or a small screwdriver to remove the integrated block.
