Wellcircuits has always been dedicated to delivering superior services to our customers. Two years ago, we introduced a free upgrade for PCB substrates, which was met with great appreciation. Currently, our default substrate is Tg150-160, and we take pride in offering the best substrate quality within the same price range.
Now, we have some exciting news to share! In August, we upgraded our ink (available for the green color only). Even better: it’s completely free!
PCB ink is specifically formulated for different PCB manufacturing processes and requirements. Various types of PCB inks have distinct characteristics, such as conductivity, durability, and corrosion resistance, to suit different applications. These inks are generally classified into three categories: circuit ink, soldermask ink, and legend ink.
- Circuit ink serves as a protective layer to prevent circuit corrosion. It is typically a liquid-photosensitive material that shields the circuit during the etching process. There are two types: acid-resistant and alkali-resistant, with the latter being more expensive. Once this ink layer corrodes, it must be dissolved with an alkaline solution.
- Soldermask ink protects the completed circuit. This liquid-photosensitive ink is heat-resistant, UV-curable, and pre-reserves solder pads for component soldering, providing insulation and resistance to oxidation.
- Legend ink is used for labeling the surface of the board, with component symbols typically printed in white.
This time, Wellcircuits has upgraded to the TAIYO CE887 HFA Halogen-free Photosensitive Solder Mask Ink, which offers several performance improvements:
- More Reliable: Uses an enhanced epoxy resin, offering superior insulation, better resistance to high and low temperatures, and improved chemical corrosion resistance.
- Improved Electrical Performance: Features a lower dielectric constant, ensuring stable and reliable signal integrity.
- Broader Applicability: Compatible with lead-free soldering, electroless gold, immersion gold, immersion silver, immersion tin, OSP, and most surface treatment processes.
Feel free to place an order and enjoy the enhanced experience!
