You can now place an order directly via the Wellcircuits Plugin for KiCad.
1. Set the Origin Point
Navigate to the menu bar: Place > Drilling and Position Offset. Position the origin at the bottom-left corner of the PCB board frame, then place a [Layer Alignment Mark] at the origin point.
2. Generate Footprint Position File
Go to File > Fabrication Output > Footprint Position (.pos) File. Select the output directory (keep the default settings), then click Generate Position File. Open the generated file with Notepad or any text editor to view the details such as reference number, value, package, X/Y coordinates, orientation, and board surface.
