GoWired Multiprotocol Gateway offers a powerful and reliable solution for wired automation systems. It is equipped with an ARM M0+ microcontroller featuring 8 times the ROM and 16 times the RAM compared to typical microcontrollers. The device supports two different communication protocols (such as MySensors, MODBUS, etc.) simultaneously, thanks to its dual RS485 transceivers. Additionally, a CAN transceiver is included, which is commonly used in home automation. USB connectivity is also available. The device uses the Wiznet W5500 chip to ensure stable Ethernet communication, while the microcontroller’s internet memory can be expanded via an SD card for purposes such as collecting debug information.
The GoWired Multiprotocol Gateway’s power supply circuitry supports a voltage range of 7-26 VDC. Onboard current and power monitoring allows the system to periodically share data on power usage and other device status details.
All components have been designed with a strong focus on reliability and safety, particularly regarding power supply protection (including ESD, overcurrent, overvoltage, and reverse polarity safeguards) as well as EMC and EMI precautions. The device is housed in a compact four-slot DIN rail enclosure.
