PiEEG is an open-source Raspberry Pi shield designed to measure various biosignals, including electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and electrocardiography (ECG). This versatile device can be easily utilized for a wide range of applications, and it is compatible with both wet and dry electrodes. PiEEG is engineered to be user-friendly, requiring only electrode connections and the execution of a Python script to start recording biosignals. Potential applications for PiEEG include gaming, entertainment, sports, healthcare, meditation, and more.
PiEEG leverages open-source software for real-time biological signal processing. The open-source models and code are hosted on GitHub, enabling users to control various devices such as robots using EEG signals generated by the brain. The device is designed not only to facilitate an understanding of neuroscience but also to provide practical insights into signal processing, filtering, and machine learning.
This innovative project was originally launched on Crowd Supply and is currently in its crowdfunding stage. We invite you to support this exciting initiative!
