Question: The wall thickness in the design is less than the required minimum of Xmm. Please modify the file accordingly.
The required wall thickness varies depending on the printing method and part size:
This is just a guideline. If the difference is small, you may choose to accept the risk and proceed with printing. If you cannot accept the risk, please adjust the file to meet the required wall thickness specifications.
Question: The file format is not supported.
The supported 3D printing file formats are: *.stl, *.obj, *.step, and *.stp.
Question: The size exceeds the printer’s capabilities.
Different materials have varying size limitations:
Resin: 2100mm*700mm*800mm (max)
Nylon: 390mm*390mm*400mm
ABS: 800mm*800mm*800mm
PLA: 1300mm*1300mm*1300mm
PC: 800mm*800mm*800mm
TPU: 450mm*300mm*300mm
PETG: 1300mm*1300mm*1300mm
ASA: 800mm*800mm*800mm
Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Die Steel: 300mm*300mm*300mm
Question: FDM process is not suitable for this part due to its small size and complex structure. It is recommended to use nylon (SLS process) or resin material (SLA process).
The part has a complex structure, making it difficult to remove support material effectively. The final print quality may not be ideal. Therefore, it is suggested to switch to nylon material and use the SLS or MJF process, which eliminates the need for support structures.
FDM printing requires significant support structures, so for non-rectangular or complex parts, resin or nylon are generally recommended for better results.
Question: The 3D file and the 2D technical drawing do not correspond to the same part. Please confirm.
Please verify whether you have uploaded the correct file. If the files correspond to the same part, kindly contact your sales representative for assistance.
Question: The 2D technical drawing is missing.
If your part includes features such as threaded taps, inserts, or assembly requirements, you need to upload the 2D technical drawing along with detailed specifications for those requirements.
Question: The material is not suitable for the requested surface finish.
For resin, five surface finish options are available: (1. Spray painting: matte or high gloss. 2. Electroplating: matte or high gloss. 3. Detail sanding.)
For nylon, three surface finish options are available: (1. Spray painting: matte or high gloss. 2. Dyeing.)
For plastic, metal, and TPU materials, no surface finish is available.
